Developing A Chiropractic Care Plan

Before your second visit, the doctor will use the exam information to find out if chiropractic can help and if so, develop a plan of action. On your second visit, Dr. Kunz or Dr. Nelson will go over all of the findings with you and answer any questions you may have.

If chiropractic can help, and you choose to accept care, the second visit is when you start working with the doctor to reach your goals. You should expect about 15 minutes for your second visit.

In certain situations, and in the professional judgment of the doctor, we sometimes make exceptions. It just depends on your unique situation.

Where do most Omaha residents get their first subluxation?
Being born in a hospital is a common source of subluxation. Trauma from forceps delivery has been replaced with drugs, vacuum extraction, Cesarean section and births that are "scheduled" to fit the workweek routines of Ob-Gyns. That's why we recommend a chiropractic checkup for every Omaha newborn.
What is the purpose of pain?
Pain prompts many Omaha folks to begin chiropractic care. But pain isn't the problem! Pain is just how your body alerts you that a limit has been reached (or exceeded), that something isn't working right and that some type of change is needed. As a chiropractor, my job is finding the underlying cause and recommending the changes needed to bring your body back into balance.
