About Kunz Chiropractic in Omaha

Omaha Chiropractors

We've been delivering quality chiropractic care to the Omaha area since October 2006. The main reason for locating in Omaha was that our families live here. Family is very important to us and we wanted my children to grow up around their grandparents. So when I decided to open a practice, Omaha was it.

Different Chiropractic Care

First and foremost, we always put the patient first. We would like our practice members to be comfortable while they are in our office so they love the experience and do not get the normal “doctor” experience that is not directed toward customer service. My chiropractic philosophy on health is to always do the least invasive first so I help my patients see how chiropractic can partner with them as they make healthy decisions.

Our approach is simple. We believe that health is among our most valuable possessions. And while we generally meet people after they’ve lost their health, our commitment is two-fold:

1. Relief Care for Omaha

When many people seek care in our practice they have one goal: relief. So that’s where we start! During this initial stage of intensive care, we have several obligations:

  • Uncover the underlying cause of the health problem
  • Suggest a care plan to produce the fastest results possible
  • Offer ways practice members can participate in their recovery
  • Explain the value of post-symptomatic wellness care

2. Wellness Care for Omaha

We encourage our practice members to achieve the highest levels of health they can. Through educational opportunities (like this website), we hope to communicate the value of ongoing chiropractic care. Our desire is to see our practice members abandon the prevailing sickness care model of health (waiting for symptoms and then taking action), in favor of the emerging wellness model. Our ideal patient is one who asks questions regarding their health. They want to stay away from drugs and are making healthy choices in diet and exercise. This person is looking for a doctor to partner with during their life.

Choose Chiropractic and Health

Regardless of your health goals, please understand that we see ourselves as mere servants. You’re the boss! It’s your body, your health and your future. Our job is to offer you the finest chiropractic care possible, and it’s up to you to decide how much of it you want.

Many people ask, "How did this happen?" Usually over time stress builds up in three different forms: chemical stress, physical stress and emotional stress. Your body responds to stress levels differently and over time it compromises the nervous systems ability to adapt to that stress. Once this has happened, vital communication is lost throughout the nervous system and the patient recognizes it as symptoms. Chiropractic care aims to restore that communication through adjustments to the spine and this is where the healing process begins.

Dr. Kunz Asks some important questions of interest to Omaha residents - Chiropractor Omaha Dr. Kunz Asks...

Where do most Omaha residents get their first subluxation?
Being born in a hospital is a common source of subluxation. Trauma from forceps delivery has been replaced with drugs, vacuum extraction, Cesarean section and births that are "scheduled" to fit the workweek routines of Ob-Gyns. That's why we recommend a chiropractic checkup for every Omaha newborn.
What is the purpose of pain?
Pain prompts many Omaha folks to begin chiropractic care. But pain isn't the problem! Pain is just how your body alerts you that a limit has been reached (or exceeded), that something isn't working right and that some type of change is needed. As a chiropractor, my job is finding the underlying cause and recommending the changes needed to bring your body back into balance.
